Constant Caps

Summers fade and winters rise
Waves move in with raging tide
Beaches swallowed by the storm
And frigid air blows onto shore
Clouds move briskly covering the sky
No sight of rays from summers shine
Sounds of constant waves that crash
A winter’s coming oh so brash

I can’t prepare for nature’s force
But I can hear it’s mighty roar
It reaches into my deeper core
Constant caps on winter’s shore
And while it pains me to know what’s next
The beaches beauty keeps me vexed
She has hurt me with little care
A dangerous maiden oh so fair
